About the Event
Websites are the new business cards; they are ubiquitous, networking super-tools, and easier to create than ever. This workshop will cover what you need to include to make your website work for you, tips for managing your own website, as well as working through some questions that I use to help folks improve the design and user experience on their website.
If you do not have a website, there is no need to build one for this workshop (that would be a lot of work!) With or without a website, I encourage you to set a timer for five minutes, and write down some thoughts about the following questions:
- Who do I want to visit my website?
- What do I want them to do?
- How does my website integrate with my (artistic) mission?
Bring your thoughts to the session so we can compare notes and discuss possible solutions together!
