About the Event
Workshop (9 am - 11 am)
We will spend two hours doing gentle body-breath connection and some vocalizing using minimal props and tools. In general, the focus is to find body connection, expand breath support understanding, and build up the tools you have in your arsenal to connect to your body and spirit in any situation.
Suggested equipment: yoga mat, Coregeous ball, resistance band
Limited to 10 participants.
$35 for workshop participation.
Masterclass (12 pm - 2:00 pm)
Applying the body/breath connection approach to singing, especially in the higher stakes situation of a masterclass with a small audience. You may sing whatever you'd like, but I would encourage you to choose a piece that challenges you in some way, whether it be breath capacity, range, or anxiety.
Limited to 5 participants.
$50 to do both the workshop and sing in the masterclass.
$35 to sing in the masterclass without doing the workshop.
